User Data Deletion

Buddy integrates with Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn so authorized administrators can publish content to pages and profiles they own. This page explains what we hold and how to have it deleted.

What we store

When you connect a Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or Google Ads account to Buddy, we store only what is needed to perform the actions you authorize:

We do not store your password, your private messages, or your personal contacts, and we do not access any account you have not explicitly connected.

How to request deletion

You have two equivalent options.

Option 1 — Disconnect in the app (immediate)

Sign in to Buddy and open your social connections under Marketing, then choose Disconnect on the account you want removed. This immediately revokes and deletes the stored access token and profile identifiers for that connection.

Google accounts. As well as disconnecting inside Buddy, you can revoke Buddy's access to your Google Ads account directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking at Google immediately invalidates the tokens we hold; disconnecting in Buddy also deletes them from our storage. Either route stops all access, and doing both leaves nothing behind.

Option 2 — Email request

Email support@hey-buddy.ai from the address associated with your account, or from a verifiable business address if you are an administrator, and include:

What happens next.

If a business contacted you using Buddy

If you received a call, text, or email from a company that uses Buddy and you want your details removed, that company controls those records — please contact them directly. If you reach us instead, we will pass your request on to them.
